CCA 43 Adro. umbraticola - TRANSVAAL
'Umbraticola' meaning 'Shade dwelling', but in our
greenhouse it thrives on good, English sunlight.
A fine, slow growing, white, mealy-leaved clone with long,
flattish leaves.
Obtained from Jumanery in 1989 for £1.25 - What a
bargain! - although much smaller in those days.
An original ink drawing,produced in 1993, was the
subject of an article by Chris Rodgerson, and published in the BCSS Journal;
Vol. 12; No. 2; Page 42. The drawing was also published in the Czech
Society Journal, Adenium, in 1993. |
