CC 1901 H. 'Dream Dancer Waltz' CC 1901 H. 'Dream Dancer Waltz'

The cultivar name and description of this CC hybrid clone have been established in the February 2006 Haworthiad - Volume 20, Issue 1, page 10.

Etymology:

The 'Dream Dancer' cultivar group received its name because, when I was musing in the greenhouse, looking at these clones and pondering upon a name for them, I realised the music we had playing at the time was Tony Bennett’s rendering of Cole Porter’s ‘Dream dancing’.

This particular clone was so named for the the rounded top to the retuse area of the leaves recalling the circular movements of a waltz.

CC 1902 H. 'Dream Dancer Foxtrot' CC 1902 H. 'Dream Dancer Foxtrot'

The cultivar name and description of this CC hybrid clone have been established in the February 2006 Haworthiad - Volume 20, Issue 1, page 12.

Etymology:

The 'Dream Dancer' cultivar group received its name because, when I was musing in the greenhouse, looking at these clones and pondering upon a name for them, I realised the music we had playing at the time was Tony Bennett’s rendering of Cole Porter’s ‘Dream dancing’.

This particular clone was so named for the slightly narrower and flatter retuse area of the leaves of this clone recalling the straighter lines of movement in a foxtrot.

CC 2317 H. 'Jaffa' CC 2317 H. 'Jaffa'

The cultivar name and description of this CC hybrid clone have been established in the June 2006 Haworthiad - Volume 20, Issue 2, page 63.

Etymology:

Named for our boxer dog, Jaffa - who was given his name when his terminally ill predecessor & uncle, Oscar, pleaded for a morsel of a Jaffa cake.
