CC 1901 H. 'Dream Dancer Waltz' The cultivar name and description of this CC hybrid
clone have been established in the February
2006 Haworthiad - Volume 20, Issue 1, page 10.
Etymology:
The 'Dream Dancer' cultivar group received its
name because, when I was musing in the greenhouse, looking at these clones
and pondering upon a name for them, I realised the music we had playing at
the time was Tony Bennett’s rendering of Cole Porter’s ‘Dream dancing’.
This particular clone
was so named for the the rounded top to the retuse area of the leaves
recalling the circular movements of a waltz. |
