This is one of the easier methods of propagation and simply requires the removal of ready-formed plantlets with a sharp blade. It's better to allow the parent plant to become a little thirsty prior to removing offsets. This will allow the leaves of the plant to soften a little and will reduce the risk of leaves splitting when we pull the heads apart to insert the knife blade.
